Are you starting to feel like the day to day practice life is becoming a bit stale? Been qualified a few years and want to get the same excitement back as when you graduated? Well, I have something that will strike your interest.
I am working with an exceptional RCVS accredited branch practice in Kingswinford, West Midlands close to the Shropshire Hills and as such, offer a wide range of services for their clients and their pets. They are an independent group owned and run by a group of Veterinary Surgeons. They are part of a 4 branch group operating across the West Midlands to provide high quality small animal and equine care. They have a hospital that boasts impressive facilities and equipment with 24 hour emergency care and specialist provisions.
The role:
This is a full time position. Out of hours is 1in8 but done as a week on call with no day time work that week. With days off all week and no need to stay in the practice if not needed for an emergency. On site night nurse. On call is based out of the hospital in Wolverhampton. Branch vets currently spend about 1 in 3 weeks on ops at the hospital to ensure familiarity for on call.
The candidate:
The practice need an experienced vet that can jump straight in to life in practice and help support join their team members.
Benefits:
6.6weeks holiday 5 days of CPD on top of that. Certificate supported with ample interesting case load to aid in completion. RVCS paid temporary accommodation is possible.
