We have an exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join our team in Sunderland located within walking distance to the sea and the stunning beaches of the north east coastline with convenient access to the A19 and A1.

We are a family orientated business with a number of working parents amongst us thus the available role can be flexible and open for discussion to suit the needs of the successful candidate. 

The surgery is purpose built, spacious and fully equipped allowing excellent clinical care to be achieved:

  • Large treatment room area
  • 2 theatres
  • Imaging and dental suite including dental radiography
  • Separate dog, cat and rabbit wards
  • 4 consulting room
  • Separate cat waiting room

We have a varied caseload and clinical freedom and gold standard practice is actively encouraged. The veterinary team is supported by Certificate holders in surgery and ultrasonography. The nursing team is highly motivated and hold a number of post VN qualifications – Graduate Diploma and Certificates in Emergency & Critical Care, Wound Management, Oral Care & Infection Control.

  • RCVS Practice Standards (GP)
  • ISFM Feline Friendly Practice (Gold)
  • RAW Rabbit Friendly Practice (Silver)
