We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy Bangor practice and support the existing veterinary team at the weekends. Based in rural North Wales, we are close to beautiful Snowdonia National Park with good transport links and amenities nearby. The modern and fully equipped practice enjoys a good variety of interesting small animal medical and surgical cases and has all the modern toys you’d expect, including digital x-ray and in house lab.

Our partner Stephanie Rayner Viner qualified from Liverpool in 2008 and alongside the collaborative 2 vet 3 nurse team, are delighted to be a Compassion Understood Platinum Accredited Practice with RCVS Accreditation pending.

Person Specification

We’re looking for an experienced Vet to work for between 8-14 hours every weekend. There is no on call and no OOH but some sole charge so you will need to demonstrate strong medical and surgical skills as well as confidence in communicating with owners and their pets. Experience of some exotics would be advantageous.
