Job Details

We require an experienced vet surgeon to work for a friendly, busy practice, with a good reputation in the local area of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Surgeries will include dog and cat castrates/spays, caesareans, exploratory laparotomy, mammary strips, lump removals, working up medicine cases, interpreting blood and x ray results and routine dentistry work.

Good communications skills are key, record keeping and teamwork essential.

They are a team of 5 full time vets.

Salary £45,000 + accommodation in a 2 bedroom house provided, £1000 CPD (£1500 if doing a certificate), RCVS, VDS and one professional subscription each year.

Shifts: 40 hour working week (shifts 3 x 9-7, 1 x 8.30-1 and 1 x 9-3.30). 1 in 5 weekends (Sat 9-2 and Sunday 10-12 sole charge).
