Job Details
I am working with Sussex's leading provider of veterinary care who have been providing pets with gold standard care for more than 40 years. The group enjoys a reputation as one of the most popular vets in Brighton and Hove. The group work to consistently improve the services, keeping costs low and offering a warm, friendly service at each of our seven local surgeries.
The hospital is a busy clinical unit being open 24/7 and are seeking progressive colleague to join the team as Senior Veterinary Surgeon.
THE ROLE:
You will initially work in a general practitioner role but with encouragement to diversify into one of the many clinical opportunities offered by this role. This is a Full time position with weekends likely to be on a rota basis. There are no night duties involved. High exotics caseload!
THE INDIVIDUAL:
Candidates should ideally have 5 plus years clinical experience and already know the ins and outs of a day to day veterinary GP work load.
BENEFITS:
CPD is freely available to all clinicians and there is encouragement and funding available for those who wish to study to certificate level and beyond Within the hospital roles are shared between consulting, surgical and inpatient rotations so an eclectic clinical experience is assured.
Starting salary range of £45K-£55K dependant on experience , 28 days annual holiday allowance [ including statutory bank holidays] and a CPD allowance of £1500K p/a plus 5 days CPD study time, RCVS membership and membership to one professional association of your choice.
