Veterinary Investigation Officer
We safeguard animal and plant health for the benefit of people, the environment and the economy. In this vital role, you will always have a new challenge to explore - from surveillance, investigation and examination of animal diseases in farmed livestock, to emergency planning and response.
A Member or Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, you’ll bring to the role a wide range of relevant experience, including the handling of large animals. You will travel and work with people nationwide, so we’ll expect you to be a great communicator, with a valid UK driving licence.
Please note, we may have a requirement at other Veterinary Investigation Centres in England and Wales in the near future.
In return for your dedication, we’ll support your ongoing development with opportunities for training. You will also enjoy excellent Civil Service benefits including pension.
