A Truly Amazing place to work where we put Pets First”

Our delightful Swinton practice is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced second Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team of 2 nurses, 2 RVNs, 3 receptionists and a practice manager.

This growing and progressive practice is RCVS Tier 2 accredited, purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment, including in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound and access to a mobile orthopaedic surgeon. Located in a busy residential area, there is a great variety of cases and flow of potential new clients.

Our Partner, Keely Walker, a 2004 Edinburgh graduate, is passionate about providing world class clinical care at the very heart of the community. Keely has a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice and an interest in medicine.

We’re looking for a confident individual, capable of sole charge, with the desire to provide excellent client care. You’ll share our ethos of putting pets first and working as a team to ensure that we do what we say we’ll do.

You will work 40 hours per week, with 1 in 2 Saturdays (9am-2pm) but no OOH. Applicants must have good general surgical and medical skills, and be confident in a sole charge capacity.

As you would expect from the market leader in small animal veterinary care, we offer:

  • Excellent career opportunities and development due to our varied case    load
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Generous CPD and funding of certificates for the right candidate
  • Paid memberships (RCVS, VDS, BVA)
  • Childcare vouchers
  • Exclusive company discounts and rewards

If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service and would like to join our team, we would love to hear from you.

We are an equal opportunities employer.
