Bridge Street Veterinary Practice

Website

The Practice is situated in the lovely East Riding of Yorkshire at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds extending to the North Yorkshire moors, 30 miles from the Historic City of York and 10 miles from the east coast sandy beaches. It occupies a large former Doctors surgery that has been extensively adapted to our own design and requirements. There is a private car park and lawned grounds to the rear. Entrance to the building is via two automatic doors leading to spacious reception and waiting areas. There are two good sized consulting rooms either side of a central dispensary. We are fully computerised using the Robovet practice management system which is very easy to learn.

The clinical area to the rear is centred round a large preparation area with;

Dog ward with large walk in glass fronted kennel and 3 large stainless kennels

Cat ward with 6 good sized stainless cages and lab area

Latest Idexx in house Lasercyte and Catalyst one machines.

Dedicated operating room

Imaging room with digital x ray and Chison Ultrasound

Isolation room

Utility room

The preparation room also contains our tub sink for dental work.

All rooms are finished to a high standard

The building has natural light throughout with the south facing preparation room bathed in sunshine for long periods of the day making this a very pleasant building to work in.

Our facilities are further enhanced by a well equipped grooming parlour run by our fully qualified groomer, and our shop containing a good stock of high quality Pet Face products.

Being a relatively new start practice (November 2013) we are constantly adding new instruments and equipment as and when required. We are VN training practice with and our first nurse qualified this July.

We are very proud of our client care and facilities and feel this represents an ideal practice for similarly like-minded individuals to settle in with many of the plus points of a big practice, especially the building and space to grow, coupled to the small practice benefits of a more friendly and personal approach to our clients with excellent levels of client continuity. We provide our own out of hours cover with the rota equally shared.

You will need to be good at eating the cakes and biscuits that our lovely clients frequently bake or provide for us, please come and spare my waistline.
