Part Time (13-16 Hours pw)

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, hard working team on a part time basis. Our practice is an easy commute from Glasgow, just off the motorway with a train station close by. We have free on-site parking.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional individual who has client care at the fore front of their mind. You must be confident with sole charge and confident with routine surgery. You will be required to work 1 in 3 weekends and there is no OOH.

The practice partner Michelle Barclay is a 2005 Glasgow graduate and became a JVP at Newton Mearns in 2014. The surgery has been built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, EGC, ultrasound and in house laboratory facilities.

By joining Vets4Pets, you will be part of a team of 2 full time vets, 2 full time RVNs and 2 client care advisors and a practice manager, all dedicated to providing a superb standard of client and animal care.

Person Specification

We offer a newly equipped surgery with 15 minute appointments, a varied case load and strongly encourage client continuity to ensure we provide the best and most consistent level of care available. We have a loyal growing client base and so we are keen to find someone who is an excellent communicator and can develop relationships with our clients.
