Annette is looking for a personable veterinary surgeon to join her friendly and busy team in Hatfield! You will be joining a supportive team with a loyal client base and excellent local reputation.

You will be joining a talented and supportive team consisting of 1 vet partner, 1 head nurse, 1 RVN, 2 student nurses and 1 receptionist. The team hold a variety of interests including soft tissue surgery and they see a higher than average number of small furries (particularly rabbits!). The practice also benefits from a visiting orthopaedic specialist.

The practice is based on a busy retail park conveniently located just off the A1 and only 5 minutes’ drive from the M25. There is free onsite parking and easy access to both Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City town centres and less than 10 minute walk to the picturesque surroundings of Stanborough Lake.

You will be passionate about providing excellent patient care, confident with routine surgery and medicine and comfortable with small furries. You will recognise the importance of building strong, trusted relationships with patients and clients and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.

The practice offers digital X-ray, a bright and spacious prep area, dedicated theatre, in house lab, separate dog, cat and isolation wards and 3 consult rooms.

Annette is happy to consider full or part time hours with a weekend rota. There is no OOHs responsibility with this role but there will be an element of sole charge with support from the nursing team.
