Job Details
I am working with a leading, passionate and overall fantastic Cornwall based animal charity who boast a magnificent veterinary hospital in the area, A truly fantastic organisation that rely on kind donations to enable us the team provide excellent veterinary services to pets, putting in so much money to making the hospital up to date with all the very best facilities and giving each and every pet the gold standard care they deserve no matter what the client back ground may be.
Due to this being such a fantastic establishment the turn over is low but lucky for you they decided t expand and are now looking for a Small Animal Vet to join the lovely team. The hospital houses 4 resident Veterinary Surgeons who between them carry out all the general day to day stuff along with more complex Orthopaedic Surgery, Blood tests and lab work, Dental work, Radiographs, Ultrasounds, K Laser Therapy and much much more!
The role:
The role can either be full time - 40 hours per week or part time - 20/30 hours per week. Luckily there are no OOH!! Hours of work 8.30 am - 6.30 pm Mon - Fri, 8.30 am - 12.30 pm Sat. Possible sole charge on occasions. Vehicle not supplied but car owner preferred due to out of town location which is just off main A.30 road with very easy access.
The Candidate:
You will be a confident and competent individual with the expertise to carry out basic/general surgeries and carry out consults on a day to day basis. You will work hard as part of the team to ‘get the job done in a caring and considerate manner’ always putting animals at the forefront of your practice.
Best bit:
Salary dependant upon experience and skills matrix but from £30k - 38k, however if Vet is skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon we would consider a salary of up to £48k.
