Veterinary Surgeon – Part Time

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to come and join our vibrant team at Rotherham Parkgate Vets4Pets. We are conveniently located within the Parkgate Shopping Park with easy access to the M1 and M18.

Our bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and is very well equipped with state of the art toys including Digital x-ray, ultrasound and ultrasonic dental.

Our partners Nicola and Saar Tsabar lead the team which consists of 2 Vets, 3 Nurses, and a very strong front of house team. We pride ourselves on having a very friendly practice with a positive atmosphere, and therefore we are able to support our colleagues to become sole charge in a stress free manner. Our colleagues support each other so there is always someone there to bounce ideas. We ensure that there is plenty of time in the day for breaks and as we are lucky to be situated in a shopping centre that has a lovely nice little stream behind it, it means there is something for everyone to do in their breaks, be it shopping or going for a walk by the stream with your dog or just to clear your head.

Nicola qualified at the University of Kosice and has a particular interest in canine theriogenology and exotics, whilst Saar is a dog behaviourist, specialising in all types of dog behaviour, having trained at the Wingate Institute in Israel. This high level of expertise, competency, and customer service makes for an excellent standard of care for our clients and diverse caseload for the team. We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ideally on a part time basis, although we will consider full time for the right candidate, and we are able to offer flexible shift patterns. You will be confident working Sole Charge and there is a flexible weekend rota but no OOH. We have a very generous CPD offering which we encourage and support our colleagues to undertake, and we are may be able to support certification where relevant,
this can be discussed with the right candidate.
